Cuteness overload
How gorgeous is this little girl?
If Nick & I produce offspring like this- she'll probably have photoshoots on a daily basis.
I really gotta try this picture!!
Either take one with Nick or take one of another couple.
I gotta remember this during a future engagement session.

Textured
So I had some free time to play around with textures and using fabric as a filter.
The pictures turned out pretty nice.
I used the curtain in our bedroom and wrapped it over the lens. Theres no photo manupilation on these.

Blogspiration.
That title is supposed to be like Inspiration but instead looks more like perspiration.
ANYHOO.
I've been obsessively following this blog.

Its a little strange since Im not pregnant nor do I plan to be pregnant anytime soon-
but I LOVE reading her blog!
I think it's mostly the pictures she takes and I get a kick out of.

Like these...
She takes them herself ( she used to be a model ) and I love the simplicity of her pictures.
I'm sure I'll go back to her blog when I am pregnant.
I hope Im this pretty when Im pregnant.
Most likely I'll look like a wrecked hot air balloon...but a girl can dream.
I can't wait to set up my camera and take pictures like this with Nick.

Through my camera lens
Jesi Lee Photography
One of my biggest passions and favorite form of expression, photography.
I specially love maternity photos.
This is my friend Bri, whom I've known since the 6th grade.
I was very privelaged to be part of this memory.

And this is their handsome son.
A broken dream.
It seemed as if the universe was speaking to me the moment we arrived in Savannah.
The hotel room we got, which looked a lot better online, scared me. Then our drive into town to visit the school was not an ideal start to our morning. My husband got frustrated with the one way streets and the GPS. While I was slowly feeling a little less excited, growing quieter as I observed the surroundings through the passenger window.

We arrived at the school, I checked in and received my welcome packet.
We immediately headed out for breakfast and the morning looked like it was going to pick up...

The coffee shop was adorable and it was very clear that whole town was engulfed in the art scene... which made me feel more at home than I had felt in a long time. My husband was quiet this whole time and I became very aware of how out of his realm the whole thing was. His silence put me back in the negative mood I had been feeling that morning.
We set off to look at apartments... which I feel like I should have taken some photographic evidence of the horrid things we saw. Even one that looked wonderful was located in such a bad neighborhood.
After viewing apartments ( Secretly broken hearted at this point ) we set out to explore the little town.
I think I was so mentally drained at this point that I didnt really absorb enough beauty...
Little things here and there seemed to go wrong.
Like going out for sushi (which was actually pretty good) but the service was horrible!
After a good cry and some much needed sleep,
I thought that the next morning would be a little better considering it was our first train ride ever.
It was ver nice at first, I was looking at the window, taking pictures.
I felt calm and relaxed.
Then all of a sudden I feel my right arm is soaking wet- and I see that there's a sticky red liquid on my seat.
It was some sort of juice spilled on my seat.
Once they gave us a new seat, the window seat we were at was not ideal for looking out of.

This was only about 20 minutes into our long train ride.
I atleast snapped some good pictures.
A HappyMagical Time
Asside from the depression I've been experiencing, I was truly happy when we visited the Universal Studios in Florida. Mostly because of Harry Potter World. I was smiling like a dopey child, hopped up on Butterbeer and (for the first time) enjoying a ride. Im a very big wuss when it comes to thrill rides and I actually enjoyed the twists and turns of the Harry Potter ride... I think riding on a broomstick being chased by a dragon is quite a thrill!
Here's my husband and I eating at The Three Broomsticks
The food was great, in my opinion. We got all the drink options. Pumpkin Juice, Butterbeer frozen & not.
I truly cherish the memories we made that weekend.
